The Kreuzkofel formation, embedded in the Fanes pastures represents two of the most snowy and most intact places in the Dolomites. We are moving on the edge of the Dolomites front in ice and rock of WW1 and ski on old, traditionally used rock transitions and pathways.

Program:

  1. Tag:Day: Welcome
    The mountain guide welcomes you at 4 pm at the Pederü Lodge. Uphill to the Fanes Lodge by walking or by snowcat. Dinner at Fanes Lodge.

  2. Tag: "Holy Mountain"
    Relatively evenly on the uphill is the first ski tour, we are making to the summit of Heiligkreuzkofel (2909 m). It emerges as an impressive cornerstone to the Val Badia and offers excellent views.
    Duration 3 h; Uphill 850 m; Downhill 850 m

  3. Tag: Lavarella
    The mountainthat sounds so wonderfully melodic, is an ideal ski mountain. The summit has become quite known because skeletons of 60,000 year-old cave bears has been found. This summit is an increase compared to the day before.

  4. Day: Monte Castello
    On the great Fanesalm stretches an extensive high valley. This broad basin goes under the Monte Castello. Here we leave the valley and start with the summit climb.

  5. Day: Sass Beccei
    In an ideal fall line we climb onto the Limo Pass. Continue on the evenly steep slopes. Steep is the way to the summit hillside. At the end over a ridge to the wooden peak cross. The descent leads us back to the Fanes lodge.

  6. Day Zehner
    Passing the Neuner Peak, where Reinhold Messner has written alpine history, we are heading straight for the Zehner. The last summit structure is accessible only via a wire rope
    Duration 3 h; Uphill 970 m; Downhill 1500 m

  7. Day: farewell
    After breakfast we say goodbye
