Snowshoeing in Val Tires

Highlights

Val di Tires is embedded in the mountainous landscape of Catinaccio and Sciliar. The eponymous nature park is the oldest in South Tyrol. Since climbing pioneers have made their first ascents here, the Dolomite peaks, which belong to the Catinaccio massif and the Latemar Group, became the absolute highlight for every mountain enthusiastic. Snowshoes-Hikers dip into deep snow primal nature, spared from lifts. Isolation and conscious slowness characterize our week of snowshoeing

Highlights:

  • moderate walking time from 3,5 to 5,5 hours
  • idyllic quite in the intact landscape of Catinaccio
  • pure nature experience
